Category-A (Cat-A) Asbestos Awareness Training is a legal requirement under Regulation 10 of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 to all employees whose work could foreseeably disturb the fabric of a building and potentially expose them to asbestos or for those who influence how the work will be carried out.
If you work on buildings constructed prior to the year 2000 you will need asbestos awareness training. If you supervise or manage people working on these types of buildings you will also need asbestos awareness training as a minimum.
